Purist speed runner family finds Tips and Tricks magazine under son's bed

 

Donald Smith had to confront his son when he found not one, but three Tips and Tricks magazines hidden under his son's bed.

"We are a purist family! We don't trick our games to complete them!"

His ten year old son, Dwayne, tried to explain that he was just holding them for a friend, but when that excuse died, he tried to admit he was just reading them for the pictures.

Donald objected soundly, "No! You have been using the extra lives code in Contra, haven't you? I am sad sick I could spit. Did I raise you to cheat in gaming?"

Dwayne interjected that half the games in his father's library are next to impossible to complete, causing his father to storm out. 

An hour later the local pastor visited the Smith family to give a chat about how the Lord does not accept game cheaters.
