It came as a surprise that the game, Magic Forest of Battle X Alpha, had actual gameplay as Kemiko Games was just trying to make an app that could steal information and force you to make microtransactions. Kemiko apologized to their 600,000 customers, stating that they don't know how credible action levels got into their obvious cash-in. They later sent updates featuring half-dressed anime girls that would lead their customers to paywalls as recompense.
Players started to complain that "there was an actual point to playing the game," "I have to use skill to win this," and "where is the pointless ads and spam?" Kemiko jumped into action and deleted the code that made the game smooth and challenging.
"It won't happen again," Ishi Watoru told his fanbase, "we came into the market to bait and switch, not to make a game you can play."
