I won't let my son play Lego games because unlimited respawns is not preparing him for the future

 

Maybe you can sleep at night letting your kids play Lego Star Wars or Batman, but it goes against everything I believe. A child should not grow up believing that life is unlimited respawns. Real life gives you finite chances. How can I expect my child to be ready for failure and disappointment if he does not get a game over screen in any Lego boss battle? It is doing him a disservice.
