New party brawler featuring the cast of Family Ties and Growing Pains might sell under company's expectations
When UbiSquare needed a party game to compete against Mario and Sponge Bob, they went to the only creative properties that were left. The cast of Growing Pains and Family Ties will face off in a party brawler where players have to thrash their opponents with attacks until they can knock them off the stage.
It sounded good on paper and the designers enjoyed making rendered models of Michael J. Fox and Kirk Cameron, but the world was not ready for such a brave game.
As of right now, UbiSquare, is looking to sell off its assets and bury the game in the desert. It turned out that many people bought the game just to see what an Alan Thicke versus Candace Cameron face-off would look like, but then returned it.
On the other hand, those who loved the loveable actor who player Boner in Growing Pains have kept the game and have generally good things to say about it.
IGN has only given it an 8.0.
